Pre & Post Hospitalisation Expenses

As the name suggests, pre hospitalisation expenses are the ones incurred before hospitalisation whereas the latter is incurred post the hospitalisation. Generally a policy provides pre-hospitalisation cover for 30 days whereas the post hospitalisation comes with tenure of 60 days. You should look for policies that provide cover for maximum days.

No claim bonus

In the years if you don’t claim for a cover many insurance companies provide you with a no-claim bonus. This increases your cover amount as the bonus ranges from 10-15% of what is offered to your. So, you should always look for such features in a policy.
