It seems sensible then to acknowledge Christ’s birthday as “Christ-mas” because December 25th is a special event to honor Christ’s birth. Rather of seeing a mass or service on December 25th, however, most switch the “mass” having a “party” that they invite buddies and family who share food and exchange gifts.
