India has progressed a lot over the past few decades. Real estate development in India too has picked-up in terms of speed and quality of projects. There are many incentives given by the Government to push for real estate development in smaller cities and town of the country. The authorities are focusing on and investing heavily in the infrastructure development of tier II and tier III cities of India. This is leading to increase in the number of good residential property development in India in the smaller cities. Buyer too are find these residential projects very attractive due to the huge difference in the prices and the facilities offered by them as compared to what these buyers would end up paying for an apartment in a Metro city.

The improvement in the quality of construction has also led to improvement of real estate in India. There are strict government laws that a real estate developer has to follow during the construction of a project. The timelines also need to be matched, otherwise there are strict penalties under the RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) laws. Buyers too are demanding international standards in an apartment, hence a lot of attention is being paid towards the interiors and amenities like security, intercom, club house, parks for children and senior citizens, walking or jogging trails, covered parking, rain water harvesting, waste water management, solar powered lighting in the lobby and open spaces, solar powered water heaters etc. Due to strong competition in the market, the real estate developers are trying to fulfil all these demands and provide best facilities in their projects.
