Solar Panel Subsidy in India
The Government of India has launched
a new scheme that grants subsidies on solar panels, under which it will support
the installation of solar power resources in Indian households. By doing this,
the Government aims to ensure that there is ample awareness about the
importance and benefits of solar power for the citizens of India. This
relatively new concept in India involves the generation of electricity by using
sunlight with the help of solar panels for rooftops.
The benefits of the Rooftop Solar
Subsidy in India are not only limited to the customers but are also spread to
Channel Partners and DISCOMS. You must be aware of the high costs associated
with the installation of solar systems, especially for residential projects.
This Government subsidy makes it easier for people to make this investment.
Furthermore, you also get a performance warranty of 5 years under this subsidy.
As the awareness about solar power and its advantages increases, Channel
Partners will get more and more customers. They will also act as a bridge
between the authorities and the customers, helping them navigate the landscape
of the subsidy and its processes. Lastly, when it comes to DISCOM benefits, it
is important to note the reduced power consumption in housing societies and
other such areas. This power can be diverted to commercial areas, where its
requirement is more.
