Sinergi Gula Nusantara - We Produce and Export Affordable Sugar Cane

PTPN III (Persero) Nusantara Plantation Holding or PTPN Group formed a single entity of 36 sugar factories (PG) owned by seven subsidiaries of PTPN Group, namely PTPN II, PTPN VII, PTPN IX, PTPN X, PTPN XI, PTPN XII, and PTPN XIV. The formation of this single entity was named PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara which was inaugurated on August 17, 2021. The establishment of PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara is one of the 88 programs of the Ministry of SOEs 2020-2023, with the aim of increasing sugar production so that it does not import and restore the glory of the Indonesian sugar industry as in 1930.

2020 There are operational and financial challenges for the Company with soaring sugar imports in 2020. The establishment of PT Sinergi Gula Nusantara is one of the 88 programs of the Ministry of SOEs 2020-2023 with the aim of increasing sugar production so that it does not import and restore the glory of the Indonesian sugar industry as in 1930.
