 On 23rd April 2013, a comprehensive act was finally brought into force that deals with the protection of women against sexual harassment at the workplace by achieving ‘The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013’ was introduced to reduce the harassment which women face at their workplace. This new act makes every effort to be a user-friendly essential tool in the hands of the employers and employees, to create healthy and safe workplaces and safeguard the perception of Vishaka guidelines [2], one reaffirmed by the Justice Committee (2013).
