Pressure Detection of Oil Delivery Pump for Diesel Generator Sets
Do you know how to operate the oil delivery pressure detection of the diesel generator set oil delivery pump? When detecting the oil delivery pressure of the oil delivery pump, the oil delivery pump can be installed on the diesel generator set, and an oil pressure gauge can be connected in series between the oil delivery pump and the diesel filter to start the diesel generator set. When the normal speed is reached, the pressure change on the oil pressure gauge should be observed. When the speed is above 600 revolutions per minute, the oil pressure should not be less than 147KPA. When the speed is 750 revolutions per minute, the working pressure is 205KPA, and the oil delivery pump should be able to continuously supply oil.
And the fuel supply should not be less than 250ML per minute. If the pressure is too high, it indicates that the fuel pump spring is too tight, and the pressure regulating valve or filter is not working properly. If the pressure is too low, it indicates that the return spring of the fuel pump is too weak or the sealing between the main chamber plunger and sleeve is poor. Both of the above situations should be promptly identified and eliminated.
Plunger type oil delivery pump, also known as piston type oil delivery pump, is widely used in multi cylinder diesel generator sets. Taking the 4135 diesel generator set as an example, the method to determine its good sealing performance is to block the oil receiving hole of the hand oil pump with the palm of your hand when checking the hand oil pump, pull up and down the hand oil pump button, and if you feel a large suction force in the palm, it indicates that the hand oil pump has good sealing performance, operates normally, and can continue to be used.
When testing the oil suction performance of the oil transfer pump, tighten the button of the hand oil pump, install a rubber hose with a diameter of 2m and 8mm at the bolt of the oil inlet joint of the oil transfer pump, and place a container containing clean light diesel oil 1m below the oil outlet of the oil transfer pump. Insert the hose into the container, operate the hand oil pump at a pumping speed of 60 times per minute, and observe whether the oil transfer pump absorbs and pumps diesel oil. If the hand oil pump pumps more than 120 times, The fuel transfer pump has not yet sucked in or pumped out diesel, indicating poor oil absorption performance. It should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.
