Online Application for GATE
The application process for GATE Exam 2015 is start from 1 September 2014. Interested applicant will have to apply online through the zonal GATE websites of IISc or any of the seven IITs.
How to apply:
Applicant should first register by providing a valid email address, mobile number and a GOAPS password. In registration, an email and SMS include your GOAPS Enrolment ID will be sent to you. You need to memorize this along with the GOAPS password for all GATE 2015 related communications/website operations.
Structure of GATE 2015
For the GATE 2015 examination, an applicant can apply for only one of the 22 papers listed by IIT.
Applicant is responsible to appropriate paper during GATE application.
The applicant is expected to appear in a paper appropriate to their qualifying degree.
Liberty to prefer any paper: The applicant is free to choose any paper according to his/her admission plan, keeping in brain the eligibility criteria of the organization in which he/she wishes to seek admission.
Blueprint of GATE-2015 Question Papers and Marking Scheme
Single paper of 65 questions (mixture of multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type questions i.e. question without any selection, you need to enter your answer generally real number value using virtual Key-board of computer.
Time: 3-hour Total Marks: 100
10 questions of 15 marks from General Aptitude (GA), 15% of the total marks
Engineering Mathematics will carry around, 13% of the total marks
GATE 2015 would enclose questions of two different types in various papers:
(I) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) having 1 or 2 marks each in all papers and segment. These questions are objective type, and each will have an option of four answers, out of which the applicant has to mark the correct answer(s).
(ii) Numerical Answer Questions of 1 or 2 marks each in all papers and segment. For these questions the answer is a genuine number, to be go through by the candidate using the virtual keypad. No choices will be publicized for this type of questions.
Sample & Format of Questions: These are support on facts, principles, formulae or laws of the regulation of the paper. The applicant is expected to be able to obtain the answer either from his/her recollection of the subject or at most from a one-line computation.

Apprentice should fill up GATE 2015 Online Application Form to emerge in GATE 2015 exam as soon as it is made live on the official IITs websites GATE Online Applicant Form.
As per the resources GATE 2015 Application Form should be available online in 1 September 2014 to 1 October 2014.
GATE 2015 application can be applied only through online mode; there is no other technique to Application form for appearing in GATE 2015 Exam.
GATE 2015 Application Form is acknowledged only by online submission.
All applicants are recommendation to register for gate 2015 exam only through online official website of Gate 2015.
In examination centers applicant are necessary to show one Identity proof such as Voter ID , PAN Card, Driving License etc with their admit card of GATE 2015.
