Asus announced four new Chromebooks. You will get a new 17.3-inch big Chromebook. There is also a new spin 713. This is just an upgrade to one of my favorite Chromebooks from last year.

Last year in 2020, Acer launched Spin 713. It was my favorite Chromebook throughout the year. It brought all kinds of good stuff together. It had a great screen. It was available at a reasonable price. It was better than the previous version too. You had enough power and speed that you would want in a mid to high-range Chromebook.

This Chromebook had a lot of performance and premium things to the table. However, they still keep the price down to a reasonable amount.

New Acer Chromebook Spin 713

Acer fixed some of the small flaws with the previous device. In short, Acer brings a sequel to it. This is the most appraised Chromebook by mid-range customers. New Spin 713 has some big upgrades.

Design and Build

Acer has done the same thing they did with the first-gen 713 and second-gen 713. They have refined it even more in this device. It feels like the best version of a Spin series. The third-gen Spin 713 is made up of aluminum. It is nice and sturdy. This Chromebook will feel fantastic on your hands. You will get a little chamfer around the edges. It has a great build quality here. You can also turn it into a tablet. It has an aluminum chassis, which features military-grade durability.

Display

You will get a high-resolution screen. It might be the same panel in the previous version. It has a 3:2 VertiView Display. It will grant you the ability to see more and do a lot of stuff. It has a 13.5-inch touchscreen. The display supports 2K resolution.

Keyboard and TouchPad

You will get a backlit keyboard. It has a big glass trackpad. However, you can choose between both versions. For fingerprint, you will have to pay a little extra money.

Fingerprint and Sensor

This version also includes the fingerprint scanner on the laptop. You will get a more reliable experience. You can unlock your device with the help of a fingerprint. It is fast and quick enough to provide you a fast experience.

Ports

Most of the ports are on the left side. You will have Full-Size HDMI, two USB-C Ports, and a headphone or microphone jack. You will get a USB-A, micro-SD card slot, volume rockers, and power buttons on the right side. You will get vents on the upside and the bottom. The USB-C port has been upgraded to Thunderbolt 4. It allows you to do ultra-fast data transfers.

Performance

It now comes with the upgraded intel 11th gen processors. These intel processors are really, really fast. You will get the latest cutting-edge performance on your fingertips. You can get it with 8 GB of RAM. You will get 256 GB of storage. Compared to last year, it has double storage, faster processors. It also supports Chrome Enterprise Upgrade. It has apps for every worker. You will have a modern employee experience from anywhere. It has built-in proactive security. You can get it on i5 and i7.

Sound

You will get better speakers than you had last year. It will provide you superior conferencing experience. It also supports DTS Audio and Smart Amplifier.

Battery Life

Acer Spin 713 has a long-lasting battery. It also supports Quick charging. You can easily get up to four hours of charge in under 30 minutes. You will get 10 hours of battery life from this laptop. However, you will get less battery life compared to the previous version.

Conclusion

The third generation Spin 713 has a great screen, keyboard, and trackpad. It has incredible build quality. You will love everything about this Chromebook.
