Image I was a gorgeous bride a few days ago when I walked down the aisle with the pure intention to let my soul merge with my fiance. Yes, he’s the man I fell for when I laid my eyes upon him for the very first time at a diner in New York. He was sitting all alone, and it appeared as if he’s waiting for someone special desperately gazing at his watch. And then after having waited for around 15 minutes, a lady walked in the diner and looked all around for this fine-looking man with robustness in his voice that I got to figure out when he called her name from a distance and said “Michelle, over here!” I have always had an intense obsession for men with a husky voice. It really turns me on, you know!

And before I forget, I must tell you that this lady had an amazing cotton shoulder bag slung over her well-shaped right shoulder. Well, its design did take my breath away as I took a glimpse of it. It seemed as if it was packed with contents, but then, after a while, she took out something that literally blew me away.

The way she had been talking to him made me think that they were about to hook up for the rest of their lives, but it came as a shock not only for him but me as well (The man seemed kind) that the lady sitting right opposite to the man talked about parting ways, and it seemed so clear with her words that nothing in this world could have changed her decision to split up with the man who loved her from the core of his heart.

You must be wondering how I came to know about his love for the lady whom he called Michelle (That surely would be the name given by her parents). When they walked out the diner, I happened to pass by the table they were sharing, and the lady’s name was written all over the tissue paper. I was like “Oh, boy! His love for the lady is beyond one’s imagination. I saw through the glass window that the couple was involved in some conflict against each other, and after some time, the guy was literally pleading her down on his knee. When he made his way again through the diner, he sat and seemed lost never to be found again.

He began singing “Always on my mind”, I thought he was just making an effort to get over with his lost love, but I was sure that time would surely heal his wounds he got from a woman he truly, madly and deeply loved.

The man who had me at the very first sight sounded American, but I, being British, did not let my confidence lose when I thought about getting an informal conversation started with this man. I was standing right beside him when the lady who torn his soul apart around 10 minutes ago sporting a cotton shoulder bags came up to him and in her harsh tone, she uttered, “I forgot to hand over these papers to you. You’re out of my league. I was a fool to believe if you had anything I needed”.

I was a bit reluctant whether or not I should go ahead and show my ways of empathizing with a person who’s lost the love of his or her life, but then I realized that the time is not right to get to know him better. So, I left my number with the bartender and asked me to me a favor if he could. I wanted my number to be passed on to the guy who felt being crossed in love deep within, because that’s the tragedy he would never let go off his mind no matter how hard he tries. The next morning came as a surprise for me when I received a call from John (Was so eager to know his name but considered the situation) and he asked me to meet at the diner where he seemed to have lost everything. I was excited to meet him, but somewhere in the corner of my mind, I felt sorry for him with pure heart. I met him and talked about everything that made his relation fall apart. To his utter surprise, he saw the same cotton bags in my hand which his ex-wife had. He must have felt uncomfortable, but I made him feel good eventually, as we were sharing a good laugh.

Was he falling in love again?
