  1. Contact Support Team: The most convenient step would be to call the support team and ask them to cancel your account and unsubscribe you from the existing services. Keep your ID with you, as they will indeed verify the authenticity.
  2. Uninstall the Software

1. If you are using a PC with OS older than Windows Vista, then follow the steps below:

  • Find the ”Control Panel” of your device through the ”Start” menu. 
  • Now, tap on ”Remove/Add Programs” and choose the option ”McAfee Security Center.” 
  • Finally, press the ”Change/Remove” option. 
  • On-screen instructions will appear.

2. If you are using a PC with Windows Vista, then the following steps will help you through the process:

  • Tap on the ”Start” option and click on ”Search.”
  • Find the ”Programs and Features” from the Search bar.

  • Tap twice on the ”Programs and Features” option to open it.
  • Now, click the ”McAfee Security Center.”
  • Finally, tap on the ”Uninstall” and go through the instructions present on the screen.

3. Mac users must follow the steps below:

  • Find the ”Go” button on the top of the Window and click on it.
  • Now, click on the ”Applications” from the drop-down list.
  • Carefully hover your mouse on the ”McAfee” icon and highlight it.
  • Move the icon to the ”Trash” and uninstall the program.
  • Now, tap on the ”Trash” option and then on the ”Finder” option present on the window.
  • Finally, press the ”Empty Trash” option from the drop-down list.
  1. Use the Product Removal Tools: There are several removal tools available online. You may use them by downloading them first on your device. 
  2. Once you are done with all the above steps, restart your device to end the process.
