Look Like a Million Bucks On Your Wedding Day
Every woman wants to like a princess on the most important day of her life when all eyes are on her. A bride spends a lot of time picking out not just the perfect bridal attire but also the perfect jewellery that would accentuate her beauty. Amidst all these preparations most brides tend to get so hassled that by the time when actual wedding day comes they are so exhausted that they do not get to enjoy the festivities to the fullest. Just like outer appearance is very important, inner tranquility is also important for a bride as it reflects on her face and makes her glow even more. Here are some easy steps a bride can follow to banish away all those pre-wedding blues.
· Eat well and stay healthy
Right before the wedding is not the time to experiment with a diet. Eat healthily and eat on time to maintain the bridal glow on your face. Take a good night's sleep every day and although you might be running on a packed schedule, make sure to pack in at least half an hour’s exercise and eight hours of sleep in your schedule. This would not only flush the toxins if any from your body but will, also keep your weight in check.
· Pack those bags
Don’t leave picking up dresses from the tailor or buying those bangles for the last minute. You may end up forgetting some things this way. Get your trousseau in bags and bridal dresses in the closet well before the wedding day. When you have will have all your dresses with you, it would be easier for you to match your shoes, bags, and accessories with each outfit.
· Schedule those spa treatments and salon visits
Spa treatments for your hair and skin treatments for your hair must start one month before your wedding day. You would not want some product to not suit you at the last minute. Fix up meetings with your hairdresser and beautician to decide the makeup and hairdo you wish to have to avoid any last-minute confusion.
· Take home trials
You did try the lehenga at the boutique, the stilettos at the shoe store and those heavy earrings at the jewellery store but what you did not do was try the entire ensemble together. Take a home trial and wear all the clothes and accessories long enough to get comfortable with them. You will get to know which shoes are likely to give you a shoe bite, which attire would need you to keep a box of safety pins to be on the safer side and whether the necklaces in the bridal sets are sitting right above the neckline or not.
· Ask for opinions
While you are trying out your clothes and jewellery ask your friends and family to give you their honest opinion. A bride can get away with mostly anything except looking like a mannequin showcasing too much jewellery or out of sync accessories. If you are wearing a sleeveless choli get a bajuband to enhance the look of your arms. Keep your jewellery light for day functions like haldi or menhdi. For a function like the cocktail dinner, pair your danglers with an off-shoulder gown and skip the necklace completely. With your Indian wedding dress, a choker with studs will do the trick for you. For the main wedding day, you can go all guns blazing!
· Appoint a Man or a Woman Friday
Ask any of the family members or close friends to be your aid that day and be in charge of things like safety pins, your mobile, purse, fabric tape and any such thing that you may need.
