Langtang Valley Trek 11 days
Langtang Valley Trek is a moderately short trek of medium dimension trouble in the wonderful Langtang Valley. Langtang valley misleads the north of Kathmandu and on the southern incline of the Tibetan level - compared between snow clad Himalayas in the north and rich green slopes of Mahabharat go in the south. We begin our visit from Syabrubesi and travel northwards through terraced ranches that gradually offer approach to thick green woodlands and tall white mountains.
The wonderful Langtang town, that was devastated gravely by the 2015 tremor, lies on our way. The town is gradually returning to life. We make a beeline for the Kyanjin Gompa from here. The visit gives us a superb chance to spot uncommon creatures and flying creatures - including the musk deer, wild mutts, monkeys, red panda, Impeyan Pheasant or Danfe, the national winged creature of Nepal, among others.
The northern scopes of the valley gives a great perspective of mountains including the Langtang Lirung (7,246 m) top. Icy masses, cascades, waterways sustained by the dissolving snow and mountain vegetation paint a dazzling picture that is in sharp difference to the similarly delightful verdant territory further down south of the valley. We remain regularly with the truly accommodating Tamang individuals.
