JOINT ENTERANCE EXAMINATION ADVANCED (JEE ADVANCED) 2020
The leading agency, NTA (National Testing Agency) is to hold the JEE Advanced 2020 in a computer-based examination format. The exams will be conducted twice, expectedly in January and April. The exam is a national level test for admissions in National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).It is also a test for JEE Advanced 2020 for admission in IIT (Indian Institute of Technology). There are going to be two papers in the exam, one for admission in B.E/B. Tech and the other for B. Arch/B. Plan.

Eligibility
The candidates must given their 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2019 or 2020 and have succeeded in scoring minimum 75% in 12th or equivalent examination (65% for SC/ ST/ PWD category in 12th or equivalent examination.)
The candidate should not have taken more than two attempts in two consecutive years
Candidates will have to come under the top 224,000 qualifying candidates in paper 1 of JEE Main 2020 (including all categories).
Syllabus
For JEE Advanced 2020 Paper I:
Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics are the three subjects for JEE Advanced 2020.
The candidates should be thorough with the following topics of the particular subjects:-
Physics: Units & dimensions, speed of sounds, mechanics, thermal physics, electricity & magnesium, optics, modern physics and much more.
Chemistry: Physical Chemistry includes general topics as oxidation, reduction, gaseous & liquid state, atomic structure & chemical bonding, electrochemistry, surface chemistry etc.
Inorganic Chemistry includes preparation & properties of non-metals, ores & minerals and etc. Organic Chemistry will include reaction of benzene, carbohydrates, amino acids 7 peptides etc.
Mathematics: Algebra, Matrices, Probability, Trigonometry, Geometry, Integral & Differential Calculus and much more.
For JEE Advanced 2020 Paper II:
Paper II will comprise of simple drawing containing lines, angles, triangles and etc., surface texture, relative location, details of its components parts, common domestic or day to day life objects like equipment, furniture, architectural awareness questions, etc.
Preparation Tips
Focus on good source of study material.
Pay attention to previous years question papers and sample papers.
Proper sleep and healthy eating is also important.
Attempt mocks tests regularly for self-evaluation.
