This article gives information about Confined Space Entry and Monitoring and Fall Protection.

A confined space has limited means for entry or exit, and it is not planned for nonstop employee possession. The general goal of this training is to protect those entering or working around a confined space.       A contract Safety Officer from IES can provide your organization with value-added solutions on your next construction or maintenance project. We have flexible options for full-time contract employment or part-time assistance if you don’t have the requirement for a full-time Safety Officer.

IES can provide fire watch attendants for hot work projects who are tasked with preventing fires and eliminating potential fires before they begin. Our attendants are trained to understand how different types of extinguishers interact with different types of fires and their various classifications and behaviors.

Confined Space Entry and Monitoring

Every year workers pass away while working within limited spaces. Most of these incidents are a result of workers being unprepared for the circumstances they encounter. Use this course to ensure your industrial health and safety management plan is meeting corporate expectations. This course is designed for supervisors and workers that must enter or provide attendant services involving confined spaces. The course addresses legislation, hazards, testing regimes, signage, and emergency response procedures associated with confined spaces.

Assessment and Certificate

Written knowledge test (minimum 80% passing grade). Upon successful completion, the student receives a certificate valid for 3 years.

Want to know who should attend? Workers who will work in or around a confined or restricted space as well as workers designated as a monitor or ‘safety watch’ for a confined space entry.

Considering desire as primary motivation for the generation of narratives is a useful concept. Some of Workplace Safety includes things like:

  • Using proper safety equipment
  • First aid safety
  • Using appropriate tools for the job
  • Employee retention
  • Awareness of surroundings
  • Company reputation

Industrial Fall Protection

Our Industrial Fall Protection course is designed for supervisors and workers who work at heights. Through hands-on exercises, the participants will learn the proper equipment inspection techniques and they will log the results. Students will learn the assembly techniques and correct use of fall protection systems. There will be a gear use work out in this course.
