Imagination- An imperative factor in kids’ development

Imagination is the ability of the mind to develop scenes, objects or events that really do not exist. Some have good imaginative power but some don’t realize the power of imagination or have lesser grown imaginative skills. Kids also have these skills, but what degree of that imaginative power they acquire depends upon the exposure and encouragement they get from visualizing the objects or scenes they have made in their minds.
 
Does your kid use their imagination to play different games or create imaginative tales? Does your child’s imaginary story seem to consist of repetitive moments? We may often hear or use different phrases like “critical thinking” and “creative problem- solving abilities”. When parents refer to their goals towards child’s cognitive development, what they really talk about is… imagination. The way to connect kids with imagination is to provide them with opportunities to enhance it for themselves at a very young age.
