Some of the things which should be taken care of –
•Warming up – Before starting the rigorous exercise on the treadmill, it is necessary to warm up oneself. It is best if the muscles and all body joints get warmed up for about 5 to 10 minutes before the start of an exercise. Start the exercise on a treadmill at a slow speed or with a slight level of incline just around 2 percent. It will help in avoiding any kind of strain or muscle injury, which could be very harmful during exercise.
•Gradually increase the speed – Start with a walk and then go to the light jogging. Slowly, after around 5 minutes, gradually increase the speed marginally. After that, increase the speed at the same pace after around 5 minutes.
•Right estimation of speed on the treadmill – Do not go with the speed, which is beyond the limit that you can exercise. If you overestimated the speed on a treadmill, then that could be injurious. Running on a track and running on a treadmill is different. Running on the track is done by self, and no machinery force is involved with it. But in a treadmill with a person treadmill is also at pace and one needs to keep on running, could not slow down to the speed.
•Keep on changing the speed and distance – If the exercise schedule keeps on getting changed from time to time, then it will give better results. If the walking exercise is being done on it and later jog is done for some days. This will help in reducing the fat at high speed and make the workout more interesting, which does not let anyone get bored.
•Do not grab the handrails – If the handrails are being held, then it will take some of your weight from the body. This is, in turn, will burn less calories, and the workout will not be so much more intense. If the exercise is getting hard on the body, then it’s better to get off of the treadmill for a minute or a while, so that there will be no risk of falling. If walking or running on the treadmill is done while holding the handrail, then lesser calories will be burnt. Then without it, a large number of calories will be burnt.
If the workout is done properly by knowing how to take the maximum benefit out of a treadmill without causing any harm to our body, then the treadmill will be best for the workout and burning fat.
