Setting Up Apple TV
1.
Unbox
everything and then ensure that all items are available: the Apple TV package
includes Apple TV, a power cord, a USB-to-Lightning cord, as well as a Siri
remote.
2.
Now
pick up the power cord and insert its smaller plug into the Apple TV power
socket located on its backside and then insert the other end of the power cord
into the power socket.
3.
Take
HDMI cable and then connect it to your TV and then to the Apple TV.
4.
If you
are using Ethernet cable to access the internet in the Apple TV, then connect
the Ethernet cable to your Apple TV.
5.
If you
are using a Wi-Fi router, then insert the Ethernet cable's one end into the
Apple TV and the other end in the Wi-Fi router.
6.
Now
turn on your TV and Apple TV. After that, simply take your TV remote and then
press the source button.
7.
Select
the HDMI port that you are using to connect the Apple TV.
8.
Now you
will see the Apple TV display on your TV. Take the Siri remote and then tap
your finger on the Touch surface of your Siri Remote.
9.
By
doing so, your Siri remote will be paired to the Apple TV. If the remote is
still not connected to the TV, then you should long-press the Menu and Volume
buttons together for about 5 seconds.
10.
Using
the touch surface, you will have to scroll up or down in the Apple TV menu.
Choose your country and language. To press OK, you will have to tap the touch
surface just like you do on a laptop's touchpad.
11.
Choose
whether you want to choose the Siri voice assistant or not (This can be changed
after the setup too).
12.
Press
the Menu button and then select the "Set Up Manually" option. Follow
the on-screen instructions to complete the further setup.
