How to Plan Your Engagement Party?
It’s your engagement ceremony and you have a whole party to plan. This is no time to panic! Just like everything else you need to decide – where, what, when and who. First, sit down with a pen and a notepad, make a list of everything and don’t forget to involve your parents in the decision too. Here are a few things to consider while planning an engagement party:
Budget: Before you begin anything else you must decide the budget for the party. All other decisions will be influenced by how much you are willing to shell out from your pocket.
Location: There are a number of Marriage Places in major cities. Hosting an engagement party in parks, resorts and lawns can be a great idea if your budget allows as these places can come out to be really expensive. Planning a fun and activity-filled party at a banquet hall can be a great alternative. Party venues can be a little tricky to decide, ask yourself what size the venue should be, what all amenities you would need and what locality is of the most convenient to you. For example; if you stay in Mumbai, narrow down your search to the Best Wedding Venues in Mumbai by sorting them according to their location, capacity, and services. Likewise, if you are a resident of Pitampura in Delhi, look for a banquet hall in Delhi NCR that suit your needs.
Theme: Select a theme which is easy to follow something around which you can plan out the invitations, party decorations, games, and food. To decide on a theme knowing what you like is very important.
Invitations: Ask your planner to make a list of all your friends that need to be invited. The number of invitees will depend upon the size of the venue and vice versa. There are a number of websites that let you design invitation cards, you can also make one on power point or get creative and make them by hand for a personal touch.
Food: Most big or small banquet halls have a set of caterers on their panel and may not allow catering by outside of their panel. Choose one that meets your food requirements. Children can be picky eaters but are usually easy to please. You need to think about the adults as well. It can be a good idea to bring out something on the menu for them too.
Activities: You can stick to the classics like music, DJ, etc. or you can try something different. Make sure the games are age-appropriate and engage the whole group. You may also decide to have a dance party. Many party venues or Wedding Banquet Halls have DJ Music and can arrange for a dance floor.
