How to Fix QuickBooks Web Connector Error QBWC1085

Method 1: Manually fixing Error. 

• In the run window, type MSCONFIG and then click on the startup tab. 
• Mark the QuickBooks web connector checkbox. 
• Click Apply. 
• Restart system.

 

Method 2: Renaming QWCLOG.TXT file.

• Go to ‘C:\ProgramData\Intuit\QBWebConnector\Log folder’.
• Select QWCLOG.TXT file and rename it by adding .old to its name.  

 

Method 3:  Remove the web connector from the startup menu.

• Login as window  admin 
• Navigate to command C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\windows\startMenu\Programs\Startup.
• Delete the QuickBooks web connector file. 
• Reboot the system.
