There are a number of reasons that make New South Wales one of the most sought after tourist destinations in Australia. Towering sky scrapers, hundreds of awe-inspiring old buildings and the multitude of rivers and rainforests make New South Wale a state of unbelievable contrast.
As you explore these wondrous features in the comfort of one of the popular family holiday resorts in Australia, be sure to include the following destinations into your itinerary.

Bondi Beach, Sydney

One of the most popular beaches in the world and the pride of Sydney, Bondi Beach is situated just 8 kilometres away from the city centre. Visited by a large number of tourists and locals alike, this stretch of sand is pristine and known for its beautiful waves. Ideal for swimming, the place also offers child-friendly saltwater sea baths in case the sea becomes too hostile for your little ones. Also known as a “surfer’s paradise”, it is frequented by lots of surfing enthusiasts from all over the world. Surfers are advised to stay within the flagged areas to ensure maximum safety in the beach.

Sydney Harbour Bridge

Fondly known as “the coathanger”, the Sydney Harbour Bridge is the largest and heaviest steel arch in the world. In fact, you can hope to catch a glimpse of this grand structure from the corner of your eye when you are anywhere in the city. For the complete “coathanger” experience, you must walk the bridge on foot rather than driving along it. There are stairs leading up to the bridge from both sides of the shore. You can climb the South-Eastern pylon to get to the Pylon Lookout, or can climb the great arc on the popular Bridge Climb.

The Cape Byron State Conservation Park

Besides offering a breath-taking view of the ocean below, the lighthouse at the top of the summit has a lot of maritime and natural displays that instil a deep interest. When making your way up to the lighthouse, you can catch a glimpse of dolphins and whales on their northern and southern migrations. Bush turkeys and wallabies also dot the place and are a treat to the eyes.

The Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains are listed as a World-Heritage sight, making them a must-visit when you reside in any one of the couples accommodation in NSW. Revel in the breath-taking views of the Megalong Valley and encounter Koalas and Kangaroos in the Featherdale Wildlife Park. You get to see the famous Three Sister Rock formation at Katoomba on this tour.

Sydney Tower Restaurant

What could be more enjoyable than enjoying the panoramic view of Sydney from atop the highest tower in the city with a whole array of gourmet dishes? Every time you look out the rotating windows, you can spot different vistas such as the Harbour Bridge, Circular Quay and even the Blue Mountains. You also get fabulous views of city buildings and skyscrapers while having a peaceful meal with your family.
