Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program offers grants for small businesses pursuing valuable research and development. Cartier Women’s Initiative Award is given annually to 21 female entrepreneurs from around the world. 70 finalists receive $100,000 and individual business mentoring. 14 finalists receive $30,000. All 21 finalists are also given the opportunity to participate in workshops and seminars. Social service organizations and your local United Way Office can also provide you with the list of organizations that provide grants for women, and other grants.
