Google Assistant Improves and Expands Multimedia Responses on Android

Google Assistant is enriched with a new interface for answers with multimedia and interactive content on Android smartphones. The Visual Response , that their precise technical name, have been around since last fall, and make it more comprehensive and useful virtual assistant answers from Mountain View. In addition to the new UI, Google explains, Assistant will be able to make some tools available to the user such as  metronome, automatic tip and loan calculator , color picker and virtual level. In addition, more questions can be answered with a Visual Response. Google gives some examples:

1. Photos of animals
2. Performance of a company's shares
3. Events and shows in one location

 

There is a new layout also for the answers on which Assistant does not have specific information and therefore makes use of  links on the Web : first they were arranged in a gallery of cards scrollable horizontally, but half a page remained empty uselessly. They are now organized in a list, and occupy the whole page.

 

Google says the news is  being distributed today . It does not mention any geographical restrictions; we can only confirm that we still have no direct feedback.
