Due to Importance and Need of Oxygen, ATD Group installing Oxygen Generation Plant
In the second wave of
Covid-19 in India, due to lack of oxygen, the health crisis became a
humanitarian crisis. Thousands of patients have breathless due to lack of
sufficient high-flow oxygen which is an effective treatment for the disease.
For more than a month,
the oxygen crisis in the country has become a tug of war between the Narendra Modi
government, state governments, hospitals, and oxygen manufacturers. For more
than a month, the oxygen crisis in the country has become a tug of war between
the Narendra Modi government, state governments, hospitals and oxygen
manufacturers. The government asked all major hospitals to provide 100 or more
beds and set up their own oxygen plants. The bitter experience of acute
shortage of oxygen to treat COVID-19 patients has left a lesson for us to
learn.
The ATD group is fully united with
the efforts made by the state government and local governing bodies to combat
this pandemic. With the rapid increase in the cases of COVID-19 in the state,
and understanding the gravity of the situation, ATD Group has planned to set up
oxygen plants in hospitals and health centers to address its shortage.
Through its Indian partner, A
UK-based group has signed an agreement with the state government of Rajasthan
to set up 60 oxygen generator plants to fight the COVID 19 pandemic in the next
2 months. ATD Group is working towards expanding the supply of healthcare products
such as Oxygen Concentrators, Oximeters, Oxygen Generator Plants and many more
items manufactured and supplied globally by SRAM and MRAM. For this 1,000 units
of oxygen concentrators, and 70,000 units of oximeters have been imported from
Malaysia.
Contributing to the welfare
and development of the society, ATD Group after successfully setting up the
first plant, has set up the second oxygen plant in Nawalgarh town of Jhunjhunu
district of Rajasthan. The group has committed to building health
infrastructure in all states. In Oxygen Plant estimated cost forecast was also
seen, which was 65 lakhs and 35.53 lakhs.
The plant that will remain
operational round the clock can generate up to 600 liters of oxygen per minute.
The purity of the oxygen has been found to be 94-95 percent and it will be
provided to the eight wards in which Covid patients are being treated as
operation theaters and ICU requires oxygen with more purity, liquid oxygen
supply will continue here.
