Every Thing You Need To know About Destiny 2
Guided play is a matchmaking feature in Destiny 2 that allows solo players to seek out clans to play within endgame activities. It is designed to give all players the opportunity to try all activities without having to gather players themselves or exit the game.
In the endgame activities, players can choose to participate in the guided games as a researcher or a guide. When a player enters the matchmaking as a seeker, the game searches for groups of guides that the seeker can join. When a guide is found, the searcher will see a prompt with information about the guide's clan. The researcher can choose to accept or reject the guide. If the seeker accepts, the guide and seeker make an "oath" to be good players for each other. The seeker must agree to understand that the guided clan has its own rules that must be followed, and the guide must agree to understand that the seeker may not be very experienced.
Guided games will be available on normal difficulty for raids, but not on hard mode.
