What is an electric defense weapon?
Unless you are a karate black belt or have a
Dwayne Johnson build, ordinary people usually cannot rely on their physical
abilities and martial skills to cope without damage in case of
aggression. To neutralize the aggressor, at least enough time to escape or
call for help, the different types of defense weapons can be of great
help.
Among them, electric weapons, which
are between the tasers and shockers, no longer have to prove their
effectiveness and their strong deterrent power. Indeed, an apparatus capable
of sending an electric shock of 2 to 10 million volts, and to generate
the contraction of the muscles leading to a temporary
paralysis and too important pains, has enough to make reflect more than one!
What does the law say about shockers and other
electric weapons?
Legally, electric weapons are classified in
category B or D2, depending on their power. Nevertheless, the vast
majority of models offered on online stores, including Gun Evasion, belong
to the D2 category. All "electric impulse contact weapons"
( Decree No. 2013-700 ) belonging to this regulated category are, of
course, subject to the law on weapons of defense. Before buying any Airsoft Sniper Rifle or
gun weapon make sure you have read all the reviews.
Available freely for sale, they can not be
sold to minors. Although they are not subject to registration, the
greatest attention should be paid to their transport and use. If it is
controlled by the police, the person carrying the weapon or using it must be
able to provide a legitimate reason. In the absence of a legitimate
reason, the latter being left to the discretion of the police officer or the
police officer who carries out the inspection, the offender risks one
year's imprisonment and a fine of € 15,000.
What are the different types of electric
weapons?
If the principle of an electric weapon is always more or less
the same (send a more or less important electric shock), this category of
defense weapons shines by its great variety.
Let's move quickly on taser-type electric
pulse guns, strictly reserved for law enforcement, to focus on
"stun-gun" or shockers, designed to temporarily immobilize the
aggressor; effective but less "risky": baton, handgun, dummy
phone, flashlight, pen, fist ... The variants are not lacking to deceive the
assailant and give him a discharge when he expects it the least!
How to use an electric shocker?
The electric shockers produce arcing
high power that can put out of harm's any malicious person
(Attention: always in self-defense) or any dangerous animal. Misused,
however, they can inflict serious injury or turn against the user! Hence
the absolute necessity to learn how to use them!
First of all, it is important to avoid
vital areas, such as the face or chest, to focus on the arms, legs, neck or
pelvis. In addition, the use of the storage must not exceed 5 seconds and
must not be followed by other discharges! Too prolonged electrical shock
can cause severe damage or death to cardiac
patients! However, it is important to know that a shock of 1 to 3 seconds
is usually enough to neutralize an attacker for several minutes.
