UK-based lithium mining firm, Cornish Lithium Ltd., is all set to launch an IPO on the London Stock Exchange this year. Over the coming years, the company seeks to supply lithium to the UK automotive battery industry and contributes towards the UK’s decarbonisation goals.
IPO plans
After its London listing this year, Cornish Lithium has planned to provide lithium and other metals used in batteries to the UK automotive industry by 2026. Cornish Lithium’s CEO, Jeremy Wrathall, has reportedly said that the company is planning to make a debut in June, but it is more likely that the IPO would be postponed to September or October considering the volatility in the market due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
