Contactless slip ring is a device that uses a magnetic core antenna to coupling the input energy and signal and output it to the receiving device. The contactless slip ring is mainly used to transfer the power generated by the turbine generator to the motor and control system in the rotating guide tool. In addition, the signal and ground instructions of the sensor in the rotary guide are transmitted in two directions, which can realize the function and closed-loop control of the rotary guide tool. Non-contact slip ring has simple structure, reliable performance, wide application range, and can also be used as the transmission device for power and signal of other oil underground tools.
JINPAT offers the contactless slip ring that provides power and data wirelessly to pitch control systems in wind turbines. Slip Ring is a stand alone electrical device that enables transfer of power and data across an electrical rotary joint (also referred to as an electric swivel, rotary electrical interface, commutator or a collector ring). Unlike conventional slip ring applications, typical contaminants such as oil or dust in the nacelle do not affect the operation of the slip ring. The contactless slip ring solutions are highly corrosion-resistant, waterproof (immersion rating of IP68) and compatible with existing power supplies and a range of communication protocols.
JINPAT is unique in its ability to cater to the demands of variable load operating environments. A standard supply can be used to provide power to the power transmitter and up to 750Watts can be drawn from the power receiver. The output voltage is held within a tight 1-percent tolerance.
