Hyde Park is a London event running over two weekends from Friday 1st
July to Sunday 10th July. The event is a summer extravaganza

Open House
A host of weekday activities including free
open air movie nights and Wimbledon screenings, street food stalls, daytime
DJs, live music and entertainment,, free badminton sessions, ping pong and much
more.
Movie nights will consist of 2 film
screenings per night, one at 6pm and one at 8:30pm. Films to be shown are;
Groundhog day, Big, The Theory of Everything, Four Weddings and a Funeral,
Moulin Rouge, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, ET and The Breakfast Club. Movie
nights are sponsored by Coca-Cola.
The Open House event is a great way to
discover the green expanse of Hyde Park for those staying in the nearby Park Grand London Paddington Court
Hotel.

This is the first of its kind in the Royal
Parks. There will be a selection of educational talks, horticulture discussions
and demonstrations. You will be able to meet the park teams and friends who
support the parks.

Transportation
The central location of this event means it
is well served by the London public transport network. Using these services, or
even walking is highly encouraged by the event organised to ease congestion,
long queues and to promote eco-friendly travel options. The Park
Grand Lancaster Gate hotel is a 15 minute walk away from Hyde Park.
Food and
Drink
2016 sees an
even greater range of taste-bud treason artisan traders, producers and
restauranteurs than ever before. There are also themed bars selling great
refreshments from real ales to cocktails. There is a strict Challenge 25 policy
throughout the duration of the event for anyone wishing to purchase alcohol.
