The land was purchased by Sarita Agrawal, wife of Brijmohan Agrawal from a farmer for 5 lakh 50 thousand in the year 2009. However, the political parties to gain the political benefit raise this issue in media and blowing it to make it a fresh and ongoing issue. 

The purpose is to mislead people and reflect that Brijmohan Agrawal son and wife have used unfair means to acquire forest land. However, as per Brijmohan Agrawal, he followed all the legal means to purchase the land. He paid the money, completed the registration and transfer of the property legally. He also said that his family has not skipped or used any unfair means. If there is any mistake, this is by the side of the seller.
