Four theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort are a must-see if you're traveling to Orlando with kids: Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. In addition, the resort has two water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Twenty-four themed resorts are housed within the main lodge, a notable feature.
Magic Kingdom is the resort's original theme park and features rides and shows suitable for guests of all ages. Various "Lands" (regional subdivisions) are shown here. Some examples include the Lands of Frontier, Tomorrow, Adventure, and Fantasy. Epcot is the second Disney World theme park on the list. Epcot was first referred to as EPCOT Center. It's twice as big as Magic Kingdom, and you can learn about the latest cutting-edge technology while you're there.
Epcot's primary sections are Future World and World Showcase. Future World features many rides and shows, including Innoventions, Test Track, The Land, Spaceship Earth, and Imagination. Pavilions at World Showcase represent eleven different countries. Many people go to Orlando to attend Epcot's yearly celebrations. Epcot's two biggest annual celebrations are the Flower and Garden Festival and the Food and Wine Festival.
Disney's Hollywood Studios is the place to go if you love movies and wish to return to the Hollywood of the 1930s and 1940s. Mickey Avenue, Streets of America, and Animation Courtyard are popular attractions in Hollywood Studios, while Animal Kingdom is the fourth and newest of Disney World's theme parks. The park's three most notable attractions are DinoLand, Oasis, and Discovery Island.
People are compelled to visit SeaWorld Orlando because of the park's unique combination of exciting attractions and tranquil settings. Aquatica Waterpark is a big selling point. Visiting the waterpark requires the purchase of an additional ticket. Tube slides, raft rides, bowl rides, and racing slides are just a few of the thrilling attractions that await guests at Aquatica.
One of the best things to do in Orlando is to visit Universal Orlando. All four of Universal's Orlando attractions—Universal Studios Florida, Wet 'n Wild Orlando, Universal's Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk Orlando—are a part of it. Areas of Universal Studios Florida are designed after various aspects of show business. The four central themed regions are New York, San Francisco, Hollywood, and Woody Woodpecker's Kidzone. Besides the theme park, Universal Orlando also features Islands of Adventure and Wet 'n Wild.
Gatorland in Orlando is the best place to learn about crocodiles and alligators. Besides crocodiles and Alligators, you'll also see pythons and lizards in this area, making it the "Alligator Capital of the World" if that doesn't get your blood pumping fast enough.
