Today I gone to write a article about “Computer Application” mean Where we use computer. Some computer’s are responsible for your leisure enjoyment and entertainment; others are in government operations and professions such as medicine and law. Let us have a brief idea of the use of computers in various sectors of our society :

1.    EDUCATION :

                          Today Computers are used in education on a large scale. Computers help you to understand newer concepts with animation and simulations.

2.  INDUSTRIES:

                      Also computers are used in all industries now these days, Where there is need for accuracy. Computers are used to control different machines as they work  more accurate than humans. Computers are also used for designing new machines. Computers can also detect faults in gas pipelines and other systems and help to bring the process back to normal.

3.  BANKING SECTOR :

                    The largest organizations that use  computers are Banks. It is particularly necessary for different types of dealings. With the use of computers calculations about your balance in minutes. Customers can get  printed statements of their accounts very easily.

4.  HOSPITALS:

                 Computers are also being used for planning and control purposes by hospitals. Computers equipment is use to check various parameters about your health very fast. These leads to correct and fast identification about a person’s disease. Medical researchers are using computers to search for cures of deadly diseases like cancer and AIDS.

5.  TRANSPORTATION :

                Today, Without computers, working in the Railway Department, Airlines, Shipping will become impossible. The booking is done through computers and can also be checked through computers.

6.   INSURANCE :

              Insurance has similar requirements as that of the banking sector. There are large numbers of files relating to customers that are to be updated. Bonus calculation and interest are to be done on a large scale and in minimum time. Customers are also to be informed about their due date and amount of instilments. Matured policies are to be paid. It is very difficult, tiresome and time consuming to do all these  tasks manually. With the introduction of computers in this sector, the burden of employees has been reduced and statements of accounts are ready in no time.

              Thousands of scientific applications are processed daily on the activities is weather forecasting, using world-wide data about different parameters. Our weather department has one of the most powerful computers for this task, the super-computer.

            In large departments, organizations, business houses, factories, etc. Computers help in preparing salary for the staff members. Computers do salary and other calculations without errors. Income tax calculation of employees are done with the help of computers. The bills are also made with the computer and are printed with printer.

9.  RELEPHONE SYSTEMS :

           Telephone exchanges have been computerized  to handle the fast increasing number of class. Through computer networks calls can be transmitted at a very fast speed. At STD shops, computers can make the calculations of calls as per the rate for the duration of the call. The transmission of telegrams and fax massage has become very fast. The computers can maintain the record of calls for bills.

1   ENTERTAINMENT :

         Our entertainment and pleasure have also been  affected by computerization. For instance electronic pianos contain digital computers. Musical instruments can also be linked to a personal computer. The advertisement running on the lower Part of your screen when you watch TV is relayed with the help of computers. Computers help in making animations and special effects for movies.
