If the reason for your MOT failure is items that can be easily replaced such as the windscreen, wiper blades, or tyres, appealing regarding these will not be acceptable. This is because there is no evidence that these are the same items that were inspected during the test.

The complete appeal process is given on the VT20 certificate (for a passing result) and VT30 certificate (for a failing result).

If the basis of your appeal is against the MOT pass result, no fee will be charged.
