Aircraft Maintenance Engineering
Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is the branch of aviation studies. The course is for molding skilled and qualified professionals. They are responsible for maintaining the airworthy condition of aircraft and its components. AME is a 2 to 4 years training program. The AME Course duration varies for different institutions. The institutes must be approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Govt of India, and/or the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The academic duration of the program includes theoretical classes and practical sessions. After completing the course the student will become a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. The AME professional is responsible for certifying an aircraft whether it is fit to fly or not.
