Empowering Farmers: How Mukul Madhav Foundation Transformed Agriculture in Phansop Village

Farming is more than just a livelihood in Phansop village, nestled in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra—it is a way of life. However, for 56 landless farmers who cultivated leased land, this way of life was fraught with challenges. Limited access to quality resources and poor-quality seeds had left them struggling to sustain themselves. With declining yields and increasing financial burdens, their future seemed uncertain. Recognizing their hardship, the Chairman of the Phansop Farmer Society and the village Sarpanch sought help from the Mukul Madhav Foundation (MMF), a dedicated NGO committed to empowering communities.
