As everybody knows there are many types of tyres available in the market like premium tyres, budget tyres and mid-range tyres but the question that arises in everybody’s mind is which pair of tyres should we choose for our vehicle. If we pick premium range tyres then it is quite expensive but has more advantages than other tyres, on the contrary, if you opt for the cheap tyres which are also known as budget tyres don’t offer as many services as mid-range and premium tyres provide. We can’t say that cheap tyres are not good but the point is that it does not perform as well as premium tyres besides this these tyres are less fuel efficient, comfortable, and wear out rapidly because of which you need to spend extra money in maintaining your vehicle so if you compare cheap tyres with the premium tyres,  however, premium tyres tend to be more affordable as they don’t get bald fastly and consumes less money in day to daycare. Don’t waste your time and get confused about which tyres should be chosen for the vehicle therefore, we are going to share some disadvantages regarding cheap tyres which are as follows-

1.     Less Durable

Budget tyres last only for a short time in terms of expensive tyres as the design of cheap tyres is made using less quality materials so these tyres have to be replaced frequently whereas, you can use these tyres for up to 40,000 miles. Changing your tyre, again and again, will empty your pocket so it’s always to choose pocket-friendly tyres like premium but now you think why are we calling Tyres Alcester as pocket-friendly tyres this is because we don’t need to spend money rapidly on buying tyres.

2.             Not Good  for Safety Purposes-

If you are purchasing these tyres for the winter season then wait a minute as cheap tyres are not efficient enough to work well on icy or wet paths which puts you at a big risk even you can face an accident also so that’s why we don’t suggest you to fit these tyres in your vehicle.

3.             Poor Fuel Efficiency-

Sometimes we select budget tyres because of our financial problems but we regret when these tyres result in less fuel efficiency than premium tyres. In premium tyres, technicians use the latest technology on the other hand in cheap tyres no new techniques are used which puts pressure on the engine of the vehicle which reduces the fuel efficiency.

4.             No Brand Name-

Cheap tyres may not have a brand name so these tyres may not support good handling power as the grip does not work properly because the rubber used in making the tyres is harder than the material used in premium tyres. So always make sure to buy a recognised brand which ensures better gripping so that your vehicle does not slip easily.

5.             Noise Creator Tyres-

If you want to enjoy a comfortable ride then you should not go for budget tyres, these tyres may create a loud noise while starting the vehicle which may affect your journey, the reason behind the noise that is coming from the tyres is that of its designing as the material that is used while making these tyres is of less quality compounds which does not block the vibrations and noise that is coming from the road.

6.             More Cost Consuming Tyres-

Now you wonder why we are saying that cheap tyres are more money-consuming tyres, this is because budget tyres wear out faster than premium tyres which means we need to replace these tyres often, so if you want the tyres of your vehicle to run long life then avoid using these cheap tyres. These tyres need repairs daily, so if you like to drive at a high speed then these tyres are not the perfect match for you.

7.             Tread Depth Decreases Fastly

Generally, the minimum tread depth of the tyres should be 1.6 mm but the tread depth of the budget tyres may start decreasing quickly which is legally not allowed for driving a vehicle with having low tread depth of the tyres. Once the tyre’s tread depth gets low or high as recommended by the legal authorities of the UK, the handling of the vehicle gets worse and you may not feel comfortable while driving.

8.             Difficult Situation While Replacing

The one biggest drawback of using cheap tyres is that when the time comes to replace these tyres with new ones then you will face difficulties in finding the proper match of it. It is not possible all the time to get in-stock the exact size as these tyres are ordered in mixed sizes quantity but you can get the premium Tyres Northfield without any tension because there are so many manufacturers in the UK which provide these tyres in all sizes.

Well now it is your choice whether you want to choose budget tyres or premium tyres for your vehicle, we only suggest you and give you the correct information regarding the tyres so don’t think that we impose on you to purchase the premium tyres as cheap tyres are also better.
