Apple Unveils iPhone 16 Series with Advanced Features and New Designs at 'I

Apple has launched the iPhone 16 series at their 'Its Glowtime' event today. The new series includes four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. These new phones are the successors to the iPhone 15 series. Besides the iPhone 16 series, Apple also introduced the new AirPods 4 earbuds, Apple Watch Series 10, and new color variants for the Watch Ultra 2. iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus Prices

The starting price of the iPhone 16 is $799, which is about ₹67,000 in India for the 128GB storage version. The iPhone 16 Plus, also with 128GB storage, is priced at $899, or around ₹75,000.

iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus Design, Features, and Specifications

Design:

Apple has made some design changes in the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. The camera design has been updated, moving away from the square camera module seen in previous models. Instead, it now resembles the iPhone X design. Both models come with a frosted glass back panel.

Display:

The iPhone 16 has a 6.1-inch OLED display, while the iPhone 16 Plus has a larger 6.7-inch OLED display. Both displays support up to 2000 nits of brightness and feature the Dynamic Island, a popular feature from previous models.

Processor, RAM, and Storage:

Both the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are powered by Apple’s new A18 processor. These models also come with 8GB of RAM and offer storage options of up to 512GB. Apple has also added new intelligence features to these phones.

Camera:

The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have similar camera setups as their predecessors. They feature a 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor on the back. The second sensor can also be used for macro shots. A new feature lets users take "Spatial" photos and videos, which was previously available only on Pro models. The camera button is designed to work like a DSLR shutter button for a professional feel.

Battery:

Although Apple did not reveal the battery details during the event, reports suggest that the iPhone 16 will have a 3561mAh battery, while the iPhone 16 Plus will have a 4006mAh battery.

Other Features:

Other notable features include a USB-C port, emergency SOS via satellite, and support for Wi-Fi 7.
