My Recovery - Drug Addiction and Dealing with being Borderline Personalty Disorder
Welcome to my blog and thank you for taking the time and interest to read it. The purpose of this blog is for me to share my struggles with addiction and finding out that I have Bi-polar Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder with severe depression and in hopes that it might help someone else and bring awareness to the Borderline Personality Disorder and Bi-Polar Disorder. I want to help spread the message that drug addiction is a disease and that people with mental disorders are not solved or improved in prision. We need to raise awareness to this effect. If you or someone you know has an addiction or mental disorder, or both, like me, I'd love to hear from you. If you'd like to send me a private email at: gwilliams715@gmail.com. GOD BLESS!

Congratulations on kicking the habit, everyone is addicted to something. It take knowledge and a strong will power to break routines we are use to doing without thinking, like drinking coffee.

Ginny,
It takes a lot of courage to talk openly about the issues you mention in this article here. You haven't talked about it in a group, cause then you would have had some kind of privacy, if there are groups here for subject matters as you speak. No, you wrote an article. I know you just a little, you seem to be such a gentle person, once more I discover how little we know people, what happens behind closed doors, how social pressure makes us experts at hiding what we're really going thro

It's a rare case of bookmarking but not tweeting or sharing on FaceBook. For me at least. Unless you would write clearly that you don't mind so that the word is spread.

Congratulations Ginny on you sobriety. I am happy for you. It is so hard I know. I lost my son at 18 due to bi-polar and addiction to the pills he was given for that condition. He struggled with bi-polar and died of an overdose from self medicating. I still struggle with him being gone but mainly remember his goodness and
happy times.

Wow Ginny;
Congratulations on 6 years of sobriety, I have never been where you were, I know of people who have, it is not an easy path to defeat "any" addiction, and until someone has walked the path, they can only assume what is involved.
I only wish you and your family the best as you forge your new future and life; if there is anything I can do to help support you in your direction of support and help for others, just let me know.
Again congrats on your 6 years, Corey
