Image There are so many people out there that want to start a business, but ... and you must decide where you stand ...

a.  They don't know what they want, or
b.  How to do it, or
c.  Where to start, or
d.  Can't follow through with their plans.

It doesn't matter what type of business you want to start.  You need a business plan that becomes your blue print to follow.

So, where do we start?
  1. Write down all the things you want to do.  Don't do it in an hour or so.  Take your time and write everything down that you good at as well what you like to do.  Think about it over a week.  I keep a little book with me and write everything I can think of down in it.  Doesn't matter how stupid it might sound or how unreachable it might look like.
  2. Now  make some time and look through your list. Over think each possibility you have written down and think hard if you really want to do it.  Always ask yourself the one question:  Will it keep my passion for it for a very long time?
  3. Take in consideration how you always approach things and think how much have you talked about this subject to other people.
  4. Down size your list as much as possible.  Take one day to rest and go back to your list again.
This is a very important step you need to take, because it's the main vein of your business.  If you choose the wrong business, you are going to lose a lot.  But if it's something you are so passionate about, you will make a success of it, because you will give it your everything.

Research

This is very important.  It doesn't matter if it's an online or offline business.  You need to gather as much information about your business as you could get.  Reading, studying, talking to people to see if they will buy the product, what they think about it, what problems they've got that you're product will solve.

Write everything down.  If you want to start an online business, you need to seek what people want before you get your product.  What are they looking for, what  problems do they have and can you solve it for them?

Don't take this step lightly, because it is one of the essential steps towards your business plan.

Remember, you are holding the future of your business, and your success in your hands.  Always handle it with respect and care
