Mind Body Connection is a Pilates®, Gyrotonic® and Yamuna® Body Rolling Personal Training and Teacher Certification Center serving the San Francisco Bay Area for over 13 years

We offer a complimentary approach to fitness and health, promoting wellness of the mind and body highlighting the neuromuscular and energetic systems. Joy through discovery supports a lifelong connection to movement as well as the desire to continue a wellness program.

With your enjoyment in focus, we host a variety of individual and group classes and workshops for fitness and rehabilitationon many levels. In every case, we emphasize "strength from the core of the body," exemplified by fullness of the breath to increase whole body strength and flexibility.

Our primary goal is to create a balanced wellness program which is valuable and rewarding, yet affordable for everyone. By introducing proper but simple biomechanics through visual and verbal cues, we guide our clients towards an understanding of how the body functions in daily life. This concept has opened the door for many people, improving the overall quality of their lives for many years to come.

What People are Saying

Mind-Body Connection has been a haven for me - a respite from career demands and stresses. Through the classes and workshops I can make and keep the connection between emotional and physical well-being. And best of all, I know I'm doing something really wonderful for myself. I'm thankful for Angi Spector's vision in creating this remarkable environment.
- Elayne Savage, Ph.D., psychotherapist/trainer, author of Don't Take It Personally! and Breathing Room - Creating Space to be a Couple

Mind Body Connection is not only a great place for me to do my pilates work-outs, but offers an array of interesting exercise classes and workshops taught by top-notch instructors. After several years of working out at Mind Body (doing a combination of pilates, gyrotonics, and mat classes), I feel stronger, leaner, taller, and more connected to my physical self than ever before.

After a busy day of using my intellect, Pilates has helped me to reconnect my mind with my physical self. The workout is personalized for my body, and has increased my strength and flexibility making other athletic activites easier.
