Hello,

What Effect Has The Price of Crude Oil Had On You:

Did you know that Crude Oil has not reached it's all time high of $102.53 since it accomplished this feat back in April of 1980. It has been almost 28 years since it reached it's all time high, a year after the Iranian revolution.

How much money do you really need to make, a difference in your life style today? How can an average family be able to afford the basic needs of just getting to work, and making ends meet? Great concerns for all of us, to think about what is a head for the future.

Has the price of oil effected your standard of life lately. What can we as consumers do to change the regulation of oil prices. If prices keep going up, what is going to happen to our future. Here is an example what has been happening in the market, Gold, copper and soybeans, have all touched record highs. This is all due to the price of crude oil........

Lets Do A Survey

This will all be based on the location of your present residence, doesn't really matter what country or where you live. The more people we get from different countries the better this survey will be. I am just interested in seeing what is going on around the world and the effect and impact has had on your present state of mind.

-What is the current price of gas in your area, either by the gallon or liter?

-How many miles or Klms do you travel each day to work?

-How much money does it cost your family per month on fuel?

-Do you think we are getting ripped off, by OPEC?

-What effect has this had on your family budget or has it not effect it at all?

I would greatly appreciate, if we could get as many people involved in this survey, l am just doing a study on this and l need as much feed back as l can get from all who would like to share their feelings with all of us.

Once again l do appreciate your valued time and input

NOW FIND OUT WHO IS BEHIND THE HIKES

This is all due to Rae, who found and wanted to share this video, you really need to see this video.....

See what CNN has to say about gas hikes

Just plain honesty

Sorry, you wanted to know what effect fuel prices had on me.

Not much.

All the effects are consequencial - higher transportation costs putting all prices up. I only spend about $15 a week for bio-diesel.

The only other effect on me has been to make me angry at the cynicism of our so-called leaders.

Well, this is an interesting topic and one which highlights the way oil prices are being manipulated.

Look again at the all time high of $102+.

Nobody has yet pointed out that, even when it was at that price, pump prices barely changed. Can you remember that?

So what is different today?

Two things:-

1 - The USA now has a budget deficit that is so enormous that anything that will bring benefit to the coffers is welcomed with open arms.

2 - Today, after a very successful war for

I might add a few more ways we are getting ripped!

How come fertilizer is half the price south of the border?(may not seem like a big deal until you have 2000 acres or so of land to farm...thank God we're ORGANIC!)

And one that pertains to your biz Joe, how come we can buy a truck for nearly $20,000 less to the south??? or a stupid trailer for $7500 less?

Hi Jeff,

You have some interesting points here Public Tranpostation and the cost factor it is all part of the fuel they also have to use and spend. It all goes hand and hand, sad situation we are heading into no real stop sign in the future. The ability to have the international market control by one very large and very organized (OPEC), makes me, really scared.....who knows what will happen this year the impact it has had so far...........well time will tell..............that is for sure

PA Fuel Average Cost : Regular Gasoline- $3.49 Premium, About $4.00... Alternative Fuel about 4.79 (Diesel) and about 5.00 Ethanol...

I usually walk everywhere, but I have been avoiding public transit, because of the ridiculous fare hikes, and it's Flu season here... Don't want anouther bug....LOL :)

I am fortunate that I don't have an immediate family to worry about.. I'm going to estimate that the average family around here is spending more than $250.00 extra per month in fuel costs,

HI Joseph,
The actual price may be a little lower in USD, because our dollar is currently
worth about 90c USD. Maybe 40c per gallon lower?

Hey Garnet l wonder what the cost of Beer is in her state.

The three of you have a pretty good handle on travel time to work and back as well as in how much you spend each and every month.

Hi Joseph,

Current price - $1.07/litre

Travel distance - 22 km

cost per month - $400-$500, another $200 if you include heating costs

Are we getting ripped off? - DEFINITELY

Effect on budget? - LOL..each year I earn a little more and each year things cost a little more.

As for feelings on the whole subject...the alternatives are out there not to mention I'm sure the technology that no one is telling us about exists. GREED is everywhere.

Hi Joseph,

-What is the current price of gas in your area, either by the gallon or litre?

About $1.40 per litre, changing almost daily. That would be about $5 per gallon I think.

-How many miles or Klms do you travel each day to work?
Don't work these days, but use the car as little as possible on about
4 days per week.

-How much money does it cost your family per month on fuel?
Haven't figured it out, but only about $50 due to not using the car
except when I have to.

-Do you think we are

Hello,

Here in Toronto, Ontario we are paying as of today February 22, 2008 gas price for regular gas was at $1.07 per litre which is equal to $4.81 per gallon. We as a family spend any where from $700 to $8-- per month just on fuel for our vehicles. I travel approximately 160 klms round trip from home to work and back not including all the travelling we do with our kids games.

The effect of gas has had an impact on our family budget without a doubt, it has changed some of our spending o
