Re-downloading music to my iPhone worked impressively well. To do so, simply click on the small iCloud icon that appears on the right side of each song. A small animation shows the song going into the “more” option at the bottom of the screen. If you click “more,” you can see a number of options, including “downloads.” Click that, and the download status of each song becomes visible. Downloading over Wi-Fi was as fast as you’d expect – about 20 songs in less than 5 minutes; the functionality and experience of downloading from iCloud was easier than I’d expect, and I was already optimistic going into it.

TigerText is releasing a new version of its consumer app Wednesday which includes group messaging. Like the many other group messaging apps, people can create groups and share messages that act like SMS messages but do not cost anything because they are not provided by a carrier. But unlike those, with TigerText people can control the messages and delete them after a certain period of time. They can also see when exactly a message was viewed and if a recipient's phone is turned off (or if someone just says they didn't get a message but actually did).

Many people attempt to recover deleted text and other information on their own with the use of SIM card readers. This is highly discouraged against for a couple of reasons. First of all SIM card readers are largely ineffective for most phones, and second these readers often destroy the information they are supposed to be recovering, making anything found unusable. Once this information is destroyed it is as useless as if it was never recovered in the first place. This can be very frustrating as it makes it impossible to get the answers you are looking for.

The resolution to this “snooping” dilemma probably lies somewhere in the middle. The bottom line is that parents need to trust their kids, but kids also make mistakes. It’s our job to keep our children from ruining their lives (like Phillip, the young man who ‘sexted’ and is now a convicted felon
) Our first defense is a strong, open and trusting relationship with our kids. Yet, as parents, we need to be tuned in to our parental periscopes, and if we have suspicions or even a gut feel that something isn’t right, we have every right to look at our teen’s texts or social networking

So how can you recover deleted text messages on iPhone without a proper backup? With Dr. Fone for iOS, you can now recover deleted text messages without a backup as long as your data is not overwritten Find deleted text messages that not only exist in your backup file but also those SMS deleted before you are able to back them up. You can retrieve and recover your deleted SMS if you have forgotten your lock password too! Best of all, recover the text messages even if you have jailbreak your iPhone or smashed/crashed/broken it , which cannot be done by iTunes.
