As an entertainer, I am always looking for extra ways to make money that both serve my artistic endeavors and are fun to do. Last week I came across a site that met all of these goals and more.

SliceThePie.Com is a website that allows music lovers to review new music by emerging artists and get paid for their reviews. I was skeptical at first that such an idea could work, but once I got logged into the site it was easy to see that they have a good thing going, and that I wanted to be a part of it.

First of all, they have a LOT of music to review. I have been reviewing for over a week, and they never run out of material waiting to review. That is because their sister site, SoundOut.Com, offers an audience insight and analytics service used by artists, record labels and radio stations. They keep the music coming.

The requirements for the site are simple. You must have a valid Paypal account so that you can get paid, and you must be able to write a solid review in clear and intelligible English. So I signed up.

The average earnings for each small review is between 8 cents and 11 cents when you start. The more reviews you write, and the better quality of your reviews, allows you to earn a better rank, which means more pay per review... up to 30 cents for each.

My first day, I earned over $4 writing reviews on what were, surprisingly, some amazing songs from a wide variety of new music. In their "scouting room", you listen to 90 seconds of a song, write a review of that song, and rate it from 1 to 10. It couldn't be any easier. In fact, my friends listened with me, and offered their input as well. It was fun!

Payout is available at just $10.00 and they even have a referral program where you can earn 10% of your referral's review earnings. A great deal, especially if you have a large network.

I would encourage all music lovers to take part in this site, not just tog et paid, but hear lots of great new music, and because its fun. Check it out for yourself by click below!
