From what I've seen so far, web traffic is the major thing for a website now. The more traffic you get the more popular you site will be, right? I had this thought about this the other day...if your on all these traffic exchanges with hundreds of other webmasters, doing the same thing you're doing, how is that beneficial to you? What I mean is, if we are all clicking each others pages try to gain credits for our sites, nobody is really getting anywhere.
I've actually joined many of these exchanges to see how many people really look at my sites, and to say the least it's not many. You don't really see your site while your 'surfing for credits', so how do you really know how many times your site is being shown? Yes, some are scams trying to get you to pay for more traffic when all it is really is just a script, so look out for these as well.
So, how good are these website exchanges? Have any of you really gotten big success from using them? I would love to hear your input and your story. I'm a firm believer in "it takes money, to make money" and entering these exchanges seems more of a rat race than anything in my opinion. But, I could be wrong. So, let me hear your thoughts people.
Thanks,
Brian B
