The nonprofit program Warrior Rising Small Business Grant, founded in Utah in 2015, provides veteran owned business grants to eligible enterprises.  

State grants for veterans  

The state of Alabama offers disabled veterans business grants, and tax-free monetary benefits in the form of Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) to eligible survivors of Service members who died in the line of duty. Alabama also offers Homestead Tax Exemption to those retired due to permanent and total disability, or blind, regardless of age or whether they are retired. Businesses based in Pennsylvania or New Jersey can receive a grant amount of $50,000 in funding. To be eligible, they must be located in low-to-moderate income area, or have been founded by a veteran, black, Asian, Latinx, or someone belonging to LGBTQ+ community.
