Just like every happened FIFA World Cup, some new records have been made by the best footballing action in Russia.

The soundest thing since the sliced bread in Portugal, Cristiano Ronaldo, 33, had managed to create some big soccer news and football highlights before going back to the home after seeing a 2-1 defeat against Uruguay, where PSG star striker Edison Cavani scored a brace and created a precious football video to remember for his fans.

However, despite being knocked out in the round of 16 of this football World Cup, Ronaldo managed to score more than one goal at a single World Cup after failing to add more than one in past three World Cups.

On the other hand, former United and Real star player's biggest nemesis Messi, 31, had a dramatic show in Russia. The 2014 FIFA World finalist only scored just one goal in the entire tournament before seeing a knockout punch by Mbappe's France in the round of 16.

After witnessing that such awfulness, there is a record that still has been shared by both players at the same stage. Messi and Ronaldo never added a goal in the knockout stages of the World Cup.

Indeed, it was another apocalyptic World Cup for Messi and Ronaldo. Nevertheless, form the end of some young guns; nothing could be better than the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals.

The 24-year-old Harry Kane has scored six goals, before losing the semi-final battle against Croatia by 2-1, which has made him the leading goal-scorer in Russia at the moment. Spurs striker is now just five goals behind from breaking the record of Gary Lineker - who is the top goal-scorer for England at the World Cup with 10 goals. Where in Qatar 2022, he would have every possibility to break Lineker’s record if qualified.

Not just Kane, his nation England also managed to break some old cruse and records. By qualifying for semi-finals, the Three Lions showed that their young guns got more to offer and at the same place, they made it to football World Cup semi-finals for the first time since 1990 as it helped them to shine on many football videos and highlights across the globe.

England's fellow European nation, the French side also made some archive to remember. The hottest young property in Europe, who is the current and coming soccer news and results producer, Kylian Mbappe, 19, becomes the first one after Pele to score three goals at a single World Cup. With the effect of that, Didier Deschamps side will see themselves in the ultimate finale for the third time.

Croatia and Belgium created the boots of legacy this time in Russia by qualifying to the semi-finals second time in their history even if Belgium failed to make it to last winning line. However, Croatia will see the final challenge against France on Sunday. The Blazers are now the 13th different finalist to be featured in the final encounter of the FIFA World Cup.

Nothing could have happened better for the European nations in Russia. However, every big South American nation saw the home calling before the semi-final for the first time since 1934, 1966, 1982 and 2006. Uruguay, Argentina and Brazil had created many great headlines in the world of football by winning the titles in the past; however, presented some lamentable soccer headlines this time in Russia.

In the end - the host Russia’s amazing campaign again has made it clear to the world that football always has many amazing things to show and offer.
