It is predicted that the engagement rings of next year will be popular. A list of designs we believe you will be looking for by 2023.

Smaller Diamond Ring

The bigger the diamond in an engagement ring, the greater the impact. We've noticed that brides-to-be are choosing smaller, more delicate engagement ring designs.

Jewellery stacking was a big trend in 2022. (A return to jewellery trends from the 1990s). This trend is also reflected in the engagement ring.

If you know that your partner loves to match and combine different pieces of jewellery and wears rings on both hands, a minimal diamond band will be essential. If your partner wears it daily, a half-carat diamond can make a statement.

Yellow Gold Engagement ring

Diamond engagement rings have reached their peak. The rose gold or the yellow gold bands on engagement rings have so many benefits. Diamonds on colored bands are more visible than those made of white gold.

You don't have to worry about buying a stone that is completely colorless -- it's not required. Yellow gold rings have the opposite. Gold rings have a warmer, darker tone that makes even diamonds that are slightly colored appear colorless. Diamonds with a hint of color are more affordable than diamonds that have no color.

Yellow gold engagement rings have a striking appearance. This is a unique piece that is perfect for those who want to avoid boring designs.

The Lab-Grown Engagement Ring

In the past laboratory-produced diamonds were branded "synthetic", or "not real". It's simply not true. Diamonds are produced under exactly the same conditions and with the same chemical composition as earth-mined stones. The diamonds are created under the exact same conditions and chemical composition as the earth-mined ones. The diamonds are grown not in the earth but in a lab. Even diamond experts cannot tell the difference between a lab-grown diamond and a naturally formed diamond.

Sapphire Center Stone

Blue Sapphire, the classic gemstone will make its presence known in 2023. We're seeing brides move away from the classic diamond engagement ring as they express their style. The beautiful blue sapphire is highlighted in its many shades. The "Princess Diana engagement ring" has seen a surge in popularity. This beautiful blue sapphire is surrounded by a diamond halo and worn by Princess Kate Middleton. When you pair a sapphire in your engagement ring with diamonds, the diamonds will bring out the color of the sapphire. Let's face it, a sapphire really is about its color. For more information about sapphires, check out our guide on How to Buy a Blue Sapphire Engagement Ring. If blue isn't for you, explore other colours of sapphire.

Toi et Moi - Two Stone Rings

This phrase was popular last year, but it will be everywhere in 2023. In French, Toi et Moi means "you and I". Having two stones next to each other as an engagement ring symbolizes your relationship with your partner. It was popularized in the 1950s, when JFK asked Jackie Kennedy to marry him with one. For a time, it fell out-of-favor but has now made a comeback in the celebrity world. Arianna Grande wears a diamond and pearl pear-shaped toi etmoi engagement ring. Megan Fox wore a toi et Moi engagement ring with emeralds and diamonds from Machine Gun Kelly, and Emily Ratajkowski wore two diamonds next to each other.

The Trio of Diamonds

The adventurous side of fashion is now trickling into the world of diamond jewellery as we are starting to see more and more brides-to-be sporting unique and 'outside-the-traditional' ring designs. Three-Diamond Ring Design is a timeless classic.

The 3 Diamond Engagement Ring stands out from all other styles. This is a stunning piece. This ring can be worn as jewellery on its own. It is not a typical engagement ring. These rings are also available in Rose Gold and Yellow Gold. Browse through our collection of Diamond ring to see if there is one that you like.

Five Stone Eternity rings

The diamond eternity ring, which was first given to a partner in the 1940s as a symbol for eternal love before the engagement ring campaign began, was initially given as a promise or promise ring. After marriage, the eternity ring was worn alongside the wedding band. The traditional eternity band has been modernized. In 2023, five stone diamond rings will replace the traditional center stone engagement ring. The classic five round brilliant diamonds, or oval diamonds with gemstones and/or coloured diamonds.

Mixed Metals

Mixed metal engagement rings are a trend that will be popular in 2023. These rings combine different metal colours into one ring. The claws on a diamond with a yellow band can be made of white gold to allow the diamond's natural shine and avoid any yellow reflection from the metal. You can use it as an accent in a ring to make it more unique.

Hidden Halo

The traditional halo is given a new twist in this trend. Diamonds are positioned underneath the center stone, rather than facing up around it. The diamonds can be used with any shape of stone and will increase the sparkle when viewed from the side. You can also use gemstones with meaning to your partner, without taking anything away from the main stone. You can see how this is done by reading our guide on what a hidden halo is.
