Century Age of Ashes Released

Indie game developer and publisher Playwing is excited to announce that you can take to the skies today in Century: Age of Ashes, the free-to-play multiplayer arena game set in a dark fantasy world of dragon riders!

Century: Age of Ashes invites players to become legendary dragon riders and rule the skies with their friends. Master the roster of dragon types and riders and fight against other dragon riders in fast-paced 3v3 and 6v6 game modes, experience fights and special challenges, unlock hundreds of epic customizations, and transform baby dragons into fearsome beasts to ride into battle.

“Our game is '0' with a continuous roadmap of live events and updates. He made the debut of the season. Players will have the opportunity to participate in two main events each month; each will have their own rules and themed rewards. These events will also serve as testing grounds for potential permanent features and will be key to the launch of competitive Season 1 in 2022,” continues Barret. “Besides live events, we will regularly provide support updates to introduce key features to the game. For example, we are working on a fourth class of riders and dragon types, new maps and a PvE mode. We can't give a date for these updates yet, but there's a lot to come, so keep your eyes peeled."

As part of the launch, the Playwing team is celebrating this December with a festive event that includes a limited-time Free for All game mode, a themed variant of our Harbor map, and three new dragons to add to your squad.

Century: Age of Ashes was announced for PS4, PS5, Xbox One S/X, Xbox Series S/X in 2022 and will continue on mobile platforms later in development. Originally, Century: Age of Ashes was released in English, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, French, and Japanese.

Currently in development by a team of 50 in Bordeaux, France, Century: Age of Ashes lets players fly into this unique multiplayer arena shooter as the next legendary dragon rider.
