Appsense Express seems to have a problem

I've had problems for a few days now. It generates errors as soon as I load it. I thought it might be my system, so I did all these things you normally do when a lot of errors start occurring. Same problem. So i figured maybe my copy had become corrupt, as sometimes happens with frequently used software. After uninstalling it and then reinstalling it, the same problem occurred. I've decided to completely remove it from my system and to re-download it. Has anyone else had a problem like this? If so, how did you repair it? In any case, I'll let everyone know how my current remedy works out.

I did try completely removing it and then reinstalling from the same downloaded installer. After encountering the very same problem as before. I decided to start over from scratch. So I downloaded a fresh copy from the website and went from there. Uninstalling it and the reinstalling with a fresh download did the trick. So now we know. If Apsense Express starts acting hinky, re-download it first, then completely uninstall and reboot before installing from the new download.

Thats true Lateef but I would not waist allot of time on it. If it were one or two posts yea the author probably deleted it and if all the time just uninstll and reinstall and be done with it. Actually a simple fix. lets move on.

I used to worry over the problem. Then I realised that it didn't affect all the bulletin posts I clicked. That gave me a hint that it might not be a problem with my PC or the software. I actually learnt that some of the posts might have been removed by the author. I think it is only when all or most of the bulletin posts give that error that one should look inward for a solution. I think there is a place where that case was treated under questions pertaining to Apsense Express.

It's sometimes difficult to give advice on certain issues because we don't always know what needs to be known before giving adice.
1. Who is the manufacture of the computer?
2. what is the OS?
3.How much ram is there?
4.When was the last time maintenance was performed?
5. What is the connection speed?

Above is just for starters but to un install and reinstall usually works if performed correctly to resolve program issues.

I can tell you this much, last night a member had some questions about contacts vs groups. I typed about a page and a half and hit the Send my comment button thinking all was ok. What happened was express timed out and I lost it all. I went back to try to recover the page but not possible, all was lost. There is no perfect system. I have been with computers for over twenty years and there is no perfect system, they all have issues. My advice is if you are going to post a lengthy post here, do it

hi
Yeah, I've had this problem a couple of times. The best solution is to completely remove it and then download it again. This has always worked for me in the past.

Good luck.
