It is what you think of, and how you see yourself. It is even the belief system you have of yourself. Your self-image is made up of all the beliefs that you have of yourself with regard to the following 8 aspects: 1. Identity revealed by people and God – What am I? 2. Value as revealed by people and God – What am I worth? 3. Purpose in life – Why am I here? 4. Accomplishments – What have I done with my life? 5. Natural talents – What can I do? 6. Natural disabilities and blemishes – What can’t I do? 7. Character strengths – What is admirable about me? 8. Character weaknesses – What is negative about my character? Self-image (Inner Picture) = Identity + Value + Purpose + Accomplishments + Talents + Disabilities + Strengths + Weaknesses When we were teenagers, we often focused only on the negative. This distorts the picture we have of ourselves. If you focused on the negative, I encourage you to start looking at the positives. You are a Winner and an Achiever. You have infinite value. You have a great purpose. You have already achieved some great things and will still achieve more. You have strengths and talents. Focus on these truths, Louise. Affirmations: I'm a Winner and an Achiever I have infinite value. I have strengths and talents Be all you can be,
