Your self-image is the picture you have of yourself.
It is what you think of, and how you see yourself. It is even the belief system you have of yourself.
Your self-image is made up of all the beliefs that you have of yourself with regard to the following 8 aspects:
1. Identity revealed by people and God – What am I?
2. Value as revealed by people and God – What am I worth?
3. Purpose in life – Why am I here?
4. Accomplishments – What have I done with my life?
5. Natural talents – What can I do?
6. Natural disabilities and blemishes – What can’t I do?
7. Character strengths – What is admirable about me?
8. Character weaknesses – What is negative about my character?
Self-image (Inner Picture) =
Identity + Value + Purpose + Accomplishments + Talents + Disabilities + Strengths + Weaknesses
When we were teenagers, we often focused only on the negative. This distorts the picture we have of ourselves. If you focused on the negative, I encourage you to start looking at the positives.
You are a Winner and an Achiever. You have infinite value. You have a great purpose. You have already achieved some great things and will still achieve more. You have strengths and talents. Focus on these truths, Louise.
Affirmations:
I'm a Winner and an Achiever
I have infinite value.
I have strengths and talents
Be all you can be,
